AMIGA project partners will attend the IOBC/WPRS Working Group on ‘GMOs in Integrated Plant Production’ that is taking place during the 6th Meeting on Ecological Impact of Genetically Modified Organisms (EIGMO) on the 3rd to the 5th June, in Berlin, Germany.

AMIGA will be presented on the second day, the 4th of June, by Dr. Salvatore Arpaia and Dr. Antoine Messean who will give an overview of the project, including main objectives and resutls achieved after the project started in December 2011.

During the conference other partners, including University of Wuerzburg, Wageningen University and James Hutton Institute, will give their contribution in different sessions and present their specific research activities.

The IOBC/WPRS working group aims to present a platform for exchange or research results and to stimulate collaborative projects dealing with genetically modified plants and their potential impact on the environment. The conference is one of the most important scientific events specialized biosafety of GMOs in Europe, and therefore an interesting opportunity for AMIGA to exchange visions with the participants and discuss related issues.
